Being a musician from a young age I began singing at the age of five. I have been a live performer for about thirty years and have played in many bands from covers bands to original ensembles. At twenty I began to write a lot of my own songs and still do today and have written about two hundred works.

Don’t buy this guitar, bought it for my daughter for xmas, then had to spend another $50 for a qualified person to fix! Strings were terible, bridge was uneven had to be fixed, the frets were sharp on the ends, enough to cut a little girls hand!
Take it from me,, do not buy a guitar online, go try it out at a store!

My husband ordered a different pink beginner from Amazon that included a bag etc. It was good but while “smaller” was still too big and the strings too hard fora 9 year old. On the advice of her teacher we ordered this one. It is perfect size for her, strings are good and has nice stylish details for the price. Very happy. She will use this one for now and we will keep the other for her to grow into since i really can’t be bothered to do the easy amazon return and the price was great for both. Went to the guitar store and the kid was trying to push a $299 guitar for my 9 year old. Nice instrument but i don’t want to spend that kind of money unless she becomes more serious in the future.
Bottomline – great guitar for the $. Can sell in the future for close to what i paid. Found a great hard shell gator guitar case in pink on Craigslist so she is now rockin’ it to her guitar classes. Look out Taylor Swift :o) !!!

My 10 yo daughter has been wanting a guitar. We had purchased a less expensive guitar at a big box store but we couldn’t keep it tuned for longer than 30 seconds. I was concerned it might be too small but this guitar is a great fit for her—she’s taller than the average 10yo. Tuned easy and remained in tune. The finish is nice and she thought it looked “awesome”. I’ve been wanting to learn guitar and this is easier to handle than my full-size guitar because I have small hands. We’ve had it since X-mas and its still is great shape.

Only con was it is a bit expensive but given my previous experience with a cheaper version, I can live with the price.
